Freshwater Plankton Ecology

As a postdoc at Bowling Green State University, I expanded my research into freshwater systems, particularly focusing on phytoplankton in the Great Lakes. These lakes provide immense ecological and economic value to the region but are at great risk from human influence, be it through anthropogenic-induced climate change, increased nutrient inputs, or the introduction and proliferation of non-native species.
